Kitchen Sewing Camp, ages 9+
June 17 - 21, 9 am - 12 pm
July 29 - Aug 2, 9 am - 12 pm
In this camp students will make several items that you would find around the kitchen, including an apron and a hot pad. Kids will learn the basics of sewing and can bring their own sewing machines if they have one.
Cost: $145 including supplies
Sewing for a Sleepover Camp, ages 9+
June 24 - 28, 9 am - 12 pm
Interested in making some projects you take with you on a sleepover? This camp is for you! In this camp students will make things like pajama shorts, pillowcases, and a sleepover bag.
Cost: $145 including supplies
Holiday Camp, ages 9+
Jul 1 - 5, 9 am - 12 pm
In this camp students will make holiday items such as a wreath, ornaments, and at least one gift to share.

Cloverbud Camp, ages 6 - 8
June 10 - 11, 10 am - 12 pm
July 25 - 26, 10 am - 12 pm
We're partnering with Yancey County 4H to offer sewing opportunities to younger sewers. Young students will be introduced to basic sewing techniques while creating a personalized pillow.
Cost: $30 including supplies
Stuffed Animal Camp, ages 9+
July 15 - 17, 9 am - 12 pm
Interested in learning how to create your own stuffed animals? This camp is for you! In this camp students will create a stuffed kitty cat using machine and hand sewing. Students will also learn how to follow a pattern.
Cost: $90 including supplies
Basic Quilting Camp
Aug 5 - 9, 9 am - 12 pm
In this camp students will learn the basics of quilting. They will be making a baby quilt, and will learn the various skills needed to follow a quilt pattern, cut strip, and sew blocks into a quilt top. They will also learn how a quilt is then quilted and bound.

Beginning Robotics, ages 8+
June 17 - 21, 1 pm - 4 pm
July 15 - 19, 1 pm - 4 pm
In this camp students will learn the basics of the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. This includes building a robot and programming the robot to do various autonomic tasks using the LEGO Mindstorms graphical programming environment.
Cost: $125
Mayan Adventure Robotics Camp, ages 11+
June 24 - 28 and July 1-5, 1 pm - 4 pm
NOTE: this is a 2 week camp
In this camp students will follow Evan and his Uncle Phillip down to Guatemala to investigate some Mayan Ruins. Evan's uncle runs into some problems that Evan helps solve with his LEGO Mindstorms robot. Students will play the role of Evan and will build and program 4 different and unique robots to solve different challenges over the course of the 2 weeks. This camp uses the LEGO Mindstorms: The Mayan Adventure book by James Floyd Kelly. Must have attended the Beginning Robotics camp or have similar experience as this is an advanced camp.
Cost: $225 + $50 for book if you would like to keep your copy
Coding Camp - Storytelling, ages 11+
July 29 - Aug 2, 1 pm - 4 pm
Our first of two coding camps covering coding basics including conditionals, loops, variables, etc. Students will use the Scratch visual programming tool to complete the exercises of the class.

Coding Camp - Game Design, ages 11+
Aug 5 - 8, 1 pm - 4 pm
Our second of two coding camps covering coding basics including conditionals, loops, variables, etc. This camp is a little more challenging than the first. Students will use the Scratch visual programming tool to complete the exercises of the class.
