Mastering the Mini
Quilt Block Series
This series was inspired by a desire to create mini blocks without resorting to the paper piecing method. My first love is piecing, so I undertook this project to see how small I could go with a regular machine foot and my normal rulers and sewing supplies. My adventure has me obsessed with the 1/4 inch seam allowance. And I now, measure and square constantly.
The final project is designed so that I could play more with the blocks I like and chock the others up to experience.
I would love to hear your suggestions and frustrations! Which blocks are your favorites?
